Arts House produce and forums, discussions, workshops and other events offering engagement opportunities for artists and/or audiences.
Arts House have a number of special initiatives with more programming density or specific focus, such as Going Nowhere (an international exchange without anyone getting on a plane) and Dance Massive (Australia contemporary dance). The program is created through local and national collaborations, new commissions and national and international co- presentations as well as responses to open calls for submissions. Arts House is curated by Creative Producer Angharad Wynne-Jones and the artistic team at Arts House with support from members of the Arts House Advisory Panel.
Arts House’s Dance Massive program was curated primarily through a national open call for submissions, and was carefully selected to offer audiences and the international presenters the chance to see a mix of exciting work by established and emerging practitioners, premieres of new works and return seasons, that explore ideas and form distinctively, skilfully and compellingly in imaginative, engaging, surprising or playful ways.
