Phillip Adams BalletLab presents the world premiere season of
AND ALL THINGS RETURN TO NATURE TOMORROW
This immersive performance envelops audiences into an otherworldly, transformative space, constructed through live art, dance and sound.
A double bill program by choreographers Brooke Stamp and Phillip Adams, creating a kinetic experience where time is elastic, a spacial oddity in design. Driven by sublime, generative sound composed by Garth Paine, these performances traverse vibrational energy, utopian impulses to alien abduction. In Adams’ Tomorrow, audience members are asked to participate, becoming part of the installation and performance, a live build of the architectural abduction experience.
Building on Adams’ passion for collaboration across art forms, the performance features a live electronic, surround sound score by Garth Paine, set design from architect Matthew Bird, clothing and design by Melbourne fashion designer Susan Dimasi from Materialbyproduct, and lighting design and effects by Robin Fox. Each choreographer will perform in their own piece alongside dancers Deanne Butterworth, Rennie McDougall and Matthew Day.
WARNING: This performance contains full nudity and immersive sound effects.
