In 2009 and 2011, Dance Massive saw bold works, sell-out seasons and a coming together of artists and dance-lovers from around Australia.
The Dance Massive consortium: Arts House, Dancehouse and Malthouse Theatre in association with Ausdance Victoria are pleased to announce their commitment to programming dance works, events and activity for Melbourne’s Dance Massive 2013.
Dance Massive exists as the concurrent programming and scheduling of contemporary dance works and events across three Melbourne venues.
These venues, Arts House, Dancehouse and Malthouse Theatre are centrally located in Melbourne and have an established history of programming new contemporary dance works for both Melbourne and Australian audiences.
During Dance Massive, the consortium partners come together to share resources, collaborate and promote their seasons and programs under the Dance Massive banner.
The Dance Board of the Australia Council for the Arts and Ausdance National will collaborate on a National Dance Forum 2013 which will be programmed in parallel to Dance Massive.
Dance Massive is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts and Arts Victoria.
